I was searching for ancestors on the www and was send to your site, the soldier's grave is my uncle's brother.
He has no internet connection but I've taken some screenshots of this site to show him how it looks like.

Very nice that people take care of these graves and let us know that he is cared for and didn't die for nothing.
They all died for somebodies freedom.

I will come down to his grave when I am in Holland to take some pictures of my own.

This will be the best christmas ever..I can make a family smile again.

It is Memorial Day weekend here in the states, a time when we remember our war heroes. Thank you so much for taking care of my father's grave (Harry Dunbar). Your web site has improved so much since the first one you made. Thanks for the site and a way for us to remember that time in our world.

It would be nice when you had a website to let others know about your story and work concerning WW II.
Men die in war 4 centuries but if they die they should die with a great cause as the heroes who took all responsibilities freeying a country or the people.

I too am glad to see the effort you and others have made towards preserving the memory of these men who died in battle. I am researching the crew of "Hey Moitle" and in the process of writing book about their experiences on 2/10/44 when their un-named B-17 was shot down over Dahlum/Lauingen area. Exact coordinates of the crash place it in Dahlum. The crew members include:

I am the Widow of Chief Warrant Officer Raymond G. Birchett who flew with the 410th Sqdn. 94th Bomb Group from September 1944 until September 1945. His job on Missions was to Jam the Radar signals of the German Anti Air Craft guns. He had a hand held jammer device, and his place in the plane was sitting on an Ammo. box between the Waist Gunners.

Dear sir/madam,

We have recently (August 2007) adopted a grave of a soldier buried at
the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial in Margraten.
We have recieved a certificate of adoption of Torrance P White, born on
March 24,1917 in Rutherford County, North Carolina.

He lived in Polk County in North Carolina.
Date of enlistment: February 15, 1942 in Fort Jackson Columbia, South Carolina.
He was with the 634 tank destroyer battalions and was killed in action I believe on March 30, 1945.
His rank was tec 4, dogtag number 34211115, unit 634 TD BN.

I have been doing some browsing on the internet, but there is still
some information that I would like to have, but cannot find.
I would like to know exactly where he was killed. I know that they were probably fighting south of Paderborn on March 27.
I know he was awarded with the Purple Heart

I now have a name, but I would like to have a face with this name.
Is there a possibility of finding one or more photo's after
